During my schooltime, we were tasked with selecting a brand/company for which we had to come up with a rebranding strategy. I chose Hema because I believe it isn't attracting today's youth. Thus, a fresh, new identity was needed.
We had to consider the target audience - who are we creating this for and who frequents this store. In my case, the goal was to have everyone step back into Hema, which isn't the case currently. I aimed for something fresh and novel without compromising Hema's recognizability. There were no changes in terms of arrangement.
After conducting research, I delved into the logo. I sketched extensively while keeping the current logo's recognizability intact. The end result is a revitalized corporate identity.
